Can porsche script decal be removed from original paint car w/o damaging the paint? If so what is the best way to do this? thanks, cole
swl
on mine it just peeled off. It didn't damage the paint but the decal left a shadow because of paint fading

Most body shops have a tool that's essentially a powered pencil eraser. It's designed to remove stickers without damaging paint. I'm sure it's dependent on the operator skill.

Definitely heat it up....

I took off newer vinyl racing numbers and it left a sticky residue... Goo be gone did nice work to take the adhesive off...

I removed mine with a heat gun and it looked like it was coming off without a hitch, but once off it looked like scrotum. The big eraser that McMark spoke of is great at removing but forget about the piece it removes. It gets erased.
