I got pinged by a rock on I-5 last Saturday. Cracked my windshield, dammit. Anybody know of a good shop to do the replacement in Portland, OR? I'm gonna be picky and insist on the butyl adhesive -- I know some shops refuse to use it anymore.

Dave, Sam's Autoglass charges $230 for an aftermarket windshield, installed properly and with care, at your location. I've used them several times now and have always been happy. (503) 896-3902. I also have (503) 505-8179 and (503) 512-7178. It's a small dad-and-son operation. Be warned: They're not very professional on the phone.
(They always use butyl tape for me, but you may want to be explicit, just to be safe.)
