I just put the front air dam on this morning.

Two of my favorites!

Here is mine a 75 that I just got together a year ago last March. Last April I had to tear the engine back down because the 3 of the flywheel bolts loosened up and had to have the crankshaft end and flywheel resurfaced. I'll be up and running in late August or early September. Boy I sure do miss it.

Nice pics!! Are they both the same car at different phases??? What size tires are on the car you are washing??? What size flares are those? Are they steel or fiberglass?

Seems like the black car crowd attracts very nice looking women!! I love the black cars, and I know it is more labour intensive to keep them looking great, but quit posting those great pics as I have decided to keep my 73 2.0 the original colour after many months of thinking I was gonna go black.

BTW - I'd love to come help you out with welding new floor pans in your Fred Flintsone 914, but will be out of town mid-Aug ~ Labor Day.

Seeing all these nice black 914's reminds me of why they charged extra for the black paint (same as metallics), because it's sooooo hard to lay down a good shiny black!!

Here is my 914-6. Sold in 2002. Now she's lost and I would love to find her again. originally signal orange, but very nice black when I had her.

Really a very dark gray but almost always appears black.

This is how I do it - find the pic, get the addy for the pic itself & copy it at "view image" (right click on pic in thread), then click on the "Insert Image" with the tree at the top of reply & paste the addy there & click OK & "Viola"!

I'm a little late on the uptake on this thread, but what's new.... seems to by my life lately... howcome nobody runs phone dials?

It is black enough IMO!!! That pick makes me want to go black instead of silver ....

Those are Revolutions - IMO the best looking 4-lug wheel ever for a 914 and they are no longer available. When a set comes on the classifieds, they are snapped up quick

Once you go L041, you won't go back. Uhhhh, I meant black.
