I need to replace my calipers due to sticking pistons & the old brake lines; ordered some from Eric. To minimize air getting into the system, will keeping the brake pedal depressed to the floor help do that? Recall hearing something about that, but don't remember where. Looked at a bunch of threads and nadda on the subject.
Thanks

It only needs to be held down about an inch or so. I use a pole wedged in the seat.
Make sure it's fastened to the brake pedal or is held there with a fork so it won't fall off when the pressure releases or you're working around it.

Depressing the brake pedal keeps the reservoir from draining dry.
