Hi,
I removed floor tar and sound pads from inside fire wall and from engine compartment. Is there some kind of chemical (may be acetone or mineral spirits) for removing residual glue?
Also, what's the best way to remove weld sealant. The heat gun is not as effective as with floor tar.

lacquer thinner to remove residue. needle gun AKA scaling tool to remove seam sealer. air chisel also works but requires journeyman skill level to avoid metal damage
