Any recomendations for brake pads used on a stock 914 for street highway level of performance??

I have tried Porterfields, and they worked excellent when warmed up or hot but just average when not warmed or hot.. Which in my sense of street and highway driving rarely did I get to use what they performed best at.. any other recomendations?

I put in PBR's and they seem just like Ferodo. Maybe a little better.

The Ferodo's I took out were the street sport versus the OEM blend.

Hawk HPS without question biggrin.gif I run them on all my street cars and they survive under circumstances that 99% of the population would not put their brakes through.

Additionally they're made in the USA, make ZERO noise and the dust they generate is average or lower than most OEM pads, plus they last surprisingly long considering the mileage & abuse I put them through.

Porterfield R4S (as in street). Break them in properly and they work properly. wink.gif

Best pads for the application and the money.
