The Diablo PCA is putting on a cruise to Paso Robles and San Simeon. It's an overnighter from Walnut Creek to San Simeon. I booked my room and am bringing my wife. Odds are, I will be the only 914 in the group unless you guys want to come. The route down Hwy 25 is a great ride. Overnight in San Simeon and then you are on your own. I may stop by Herst Castle and see some Sea Lions on the way home up the cost. Below is the info for anyone wanting to come alaong. For those who have never gone on a PCA cruise. They are extreemly organized and not a time trial. The route down 25 is a great drive. The drive from King City to the coast will be awesome too.

Paso Robles Tour

We had so much fun last year visiting the James Dean Memorial that we were asked
to do it again this year. Here it is.
For those who came along last year, we are repeating Highway 25, one of the best
back roads at the central valley. Then, we will hop on a different road from there and drive to the Paso Robles area early enough to do some grape sampling.
Room rate depends on the type of room you like but should be less than $125 per
room (tax included) at San Simeon Pines.
Please email Ken Wu kw1055@gmail.com and Patrick Schmidt

We will forward you the details for booking the room.

(Note – Food and lodging will be paid directly by participants.)
We will start from Marie Callender’s at Walnut Creek at 9:00 a.m.

Hwy. 25 on the east side of the Pinnacle National Monument near Hollister… one of the “roads less traveled”.
About 170 mi.
We will have lunch at King City
After some great roads, sightseeing and visiting a few agricultural spots (there may be a “tasting” charge if you are interested), we’ll head to the Coast to our hotel, the San Simeon Pines in San Simeon. 120 mil
Dinner will be (on your own) in nearby Cambria.
