Clutch started slipping, so I'm probably taking apart my car.. since my heat exchangers are a bit tatty, and one of them suffered from being squished between the cross bar and the engine when a PO engine mount failed, so the shell is damaged I figured I'd see about getting them repaired & cleaned up.
Can anyone recommend a place to repair and clean up my heat exchangers? Can/should the whole thing be jet-hot coated? What's the general idea for protecting the magical unobtainium they are made of?
I assume there is still no viable aftermarket option for sixer heat exchangers, and good used ones are getting more and more scarce.
Thanks guys.

That's a toughie. You'll probably be better off contacting a restoration shop with the h/e's in hand and get an estimate to hot tank and them and repair the corrosion first. Then I'd send them to Jet-Hot.

I just had some friends weld mine up and then I jet hot coated them.

Or better yet, take them to Mark D at Original Customs!
