Full Version: Sound deadening pad removal

I'm removing the sound deadening pad and putting dynamat in the inside of the firewall. What is the best thing to use to remove the glue and grim from the engine side of the firewall?

I started with the 3M Adhesive remover solvent, but switched over to the disc.

It worked pretty good.

Is that a cloth disk with abrasive? Hard to see in the pic. Thanks for posting.
