Will above ignition box work with a Bosch Blue Coil?? I have mallory UniLite D.
What other items are needed to make the box work on the 914?
Anybody got pics of their installs?
As always THX in advance Ken

I believe it will, but you should get the high voltage MSD coil, it's the cheap part of the system. You will also need a MSD tach adapter to run the stock VDO

I ran just that. MSD 6AL 7000rpm pill, Bosch Blue, no tach adapter. Got tack signal directly from the connection on the MSD. In fact, I have a new tach adapter sitting in the garage. Didn't need it.

From digging around search it appeared to me that it WOULD work like Rob says.... ie. MSD...Bosch Blue...No tach adapter
I was going to use the 6000 pill. But on that note.... I am not sure were my Red Line should really be? I have 9.3 CR with 9550 cam.
Charlie...it is a 2056 build. Stock is 5800(?) on the 2.0 liter....

I hope you are talking about compression ratio on a water cooled motor. A stock valve spring sbc will not like anything over about 5800 especially if it's a roller cam motor.
