I removed the dealer installed air conditioner compressor from my 1974 2.0L car and now have a hole in the engine tin where the compressor was. I am trying to get this part of my car back to the factory condition. What is the best way to make this repair? Is it possible to patch this area or should I replace the engine tin? Is the engine tin available commercially or is there a good supply of used engine tin parts out there?

If you have some other tin (1.7 /1.8) you can cut the corner out and weld it in.

That place in GA might have a piece.

GPR would certainly have a whole one (I saw it yesterday).
