After hours and hours of sanding , grinding and attempting to chemical strip the awful undercoating on my 6....


I found a chemical that works!!


Por-15 Paint stripper. It's advertised as the only chemical to strip por-15.

Guess what? It stripped a fenderwell in about an hour and a half. Versus.... 6-10 hours of grinding, sanding etc...

Spray it on, wait 10-15 minutes, Scratch it with a gasket scraper, spray it again and wait 10 minutes. It comes off like soft bondo.

Have not tried the really heavy coat yet.

Just thought I'd let you know.

And it's only $27 a gallon

Tonight, I've got to take a look at Hawk's front brakes.

i've used desiel fuel once, it does work, but it stinks and requires too many applications of it...this would be great if it works as you say it does..this is the worst job every to do on a car.......
