74 car that had no brake warning light on dash. After pulling out gas gauge from dash, found PO had removed hot wire from brake warning light. Put wire back on and had flashing red light........when I turned key off, flasher kept on but light went out. I guess I know the reason why he removed wire from bulb. Emergency flashers work, turn signals work, running lights work. I realize that the light works on grounding, why would the flasher keep on making noise when the e-brake is off.......Brakes on car are good...nice hard pedal.........any Ideas???? Thanks

Can be as simple as the E brake switch. Start with the easy stuff first. If not I belive there ia s sensor on the master cylinder. Should be one of the 2.

I bet all you need is to reset the brake master cylinder switch ...
