It's that time again, Thomas' 3rd annual Halloween Run will take place on October 31st. This year we'll run essential the same course, the meeting place and full course will be posted within the week. Patches will be handed out like last year at the event. Please let us know if you plan on attending

Ah!! The tour D'La Robsrock...
Like the pilots say "Any landing you can walk away from." This year should not be quite as exciting as last.
I will be there.

Wow it's been a year,, I will respectfully decline this year.
I sure hope it's nowhere near as "exciting" as last year.

What the heck happened last year?
I had a lapse in judgement, and parked my 914 on a rock overlooking a 100+ foot drop. Sure raised my heart-rate and flattened my wallet.
I'm better now.

Nice Andy where did you mount the cam? and is there a ex/ mic?
Socalandy
Nov 5 2010, 03:17 PM
Thanks, I mounted it on the window cowl and no External mic. I used the closed back cover on the GoPro case . Next time I will try the open back but I think it will have alot more wind noise.

Gotta say. Thanks Thomas so much fun. Thanks Andy for the video great group of people on this drive.
Thanks Joe...I had the only breakdown in the drive. I know it's electrical. Maybe I'll start a thread!
This is a great drive and it was nice because I met a couple of 914 guys that just live in the area who came out of the woodwork to make it.
Have a few pictures I'll post later.
Andy...nice meeting your wife...wonderful people and a great video. Thanks everyone. We all made it up and down the hill...had fun!
