Sent a package with four of the little matchbox 914's in early September via Canada Post, hope you got them Wolfgang! Did anyone else find them and send them off? I can imagine him getting a whole bunch real soon as I don't think I was the only one who sent him some.

Ian, unfortunately I didn't get your package with four cars yet.
But I've got the different canadien Matchbox 914 versions as well as a Matchbox Collectors Pack (including a 914) from other guys (Mark, Mike and Dave)
I thought you forgot to send it ...
Maybe it will arrive in future - I'd let you know of course!
Or it might come back to you sometimes?

Hi, so what's the difference with the Candadian version? Also what it is the Collectors set. Missed both of these!!

I don't think there is a difference and the collector set is just a set of 4 toys and one is the 914.

I've only found the light green so far.

and here are my different versions so far:

1st line: USA version
full size card, grey stripe on the right hand lower corner, that says:
HERITAGE CLASSICS

2nd line, #1+2: Canada version
full size card, purple stripe on the right hand corner, that says:
PORSCHE 914
16 / 100

2nd line, #3: Mexico version:
full size card, purple stripe on the right hand corner, that says:
PORSCHE 914
16 / 75

1st+2nd line, #4: Europe version:
small size card, purple stripe on the right hand corner, that says:
'71 PORSCHE 914
16 / 75

I sent a couple to Wolfgang but I put Australia on the label by accident so they took a lot longer to get to him.

What's the attraction to these kidde toys?
Now maybe if CMC level model made>..........

The Canadian version also has snow tires! Just kidding. Wolfgang please let me know when you get them, they should have got to you by now, I will go and raise hell with Canada Post if they don't arrive in another week.

Thanks for all the info guys and thanks Wolfgang for the pictures. Looks like I am up to date with all the colours!! I have a few of the UK spec ones in Lime Green on the small card (on Wolfgang's picture that's the one on the bottom row, extreme right) spare. Not got the one in the set and don't think I will bother. My collection of 914's is about 178 out of my total VW Porsche plus a few Audi's of 1500+.
