Folks,

Just finishing putting my motor together and wonder if there is anyone out there who can make some recommondation re an rpm limiter, I have a mallory distrubutor with unilite. Blew up a fresh motorbike engine a couple of years ago as a result of the drive chain parting with resulting 25000rpm's and don't want to make the mistake twice.
Borderline
I chose to stay with Mallory and bought the Hyfire 6al. I got a good price from Amazon. The only problem is the first unit quit unexpectedly and I had to get it replaced under warranty. The second unit is working fine now for over a couple years. I also bought the Mallory coil to complete the system. So far very ahppy with it all. The Hyfire has a little dial that you can adjust your rev limit at 250 rpm steps.
