What would be causing my reconditioned fuel pump to burn out? I have tried replacing gas line filter, I made sure the return fuel line was good, I removed all the gas from the tank to the fuel pump. I have burned out 2 pumps so far.

What can I be checking to get my headlights to raise and lower?

1.) Poor quality rebuild. Bosch says they can't be rebuilt. If you have the capability, check the amp draw on your pump.

2.) Insufficient fuel flow ... clogged restricted suction or return ... pump overheats as it is cooled by fuel flow

3.) Pump to close to HEs and overheating.

Just get a new '75-'76 single in and single out and eliminate the "t" at the pump.

Headlights:

1.) headlight switch internally bad

2.) bad relays (front trunk)

3.) bad headlight motors

4.) bad wiring

that's about it for me.

Each headlight has a fuse under the dash and a relay under each cover in the front. Relay controls motor, fuse controls the headlight. Check headlight motor ground on back of headlight bucket.
