So i was just wondering. My first 914 was the second car i ever owned. It was a 71 car painted olive green. (there cant be that many olive cars rolleyes.gif ) It was a real piece of work. I believe it had a 1.7 with dual 34ict carbs. It was a whole heap of problems, and i sold it because i couldnt handle it back then. It was before i found you guys wub.gif and it was my only car, not easy to work on.

I sold it to a guy who worked for NASA about 7 years ago. I drove it to his garage in washington D.C.

Then about 2 years ago, i saw it on ebay or craigslist with different wheels on it, listed with another car. It was right near me in PA. It must have followed me av-943.gif

I was kinda thinking it got the Axe.

Anybody seen it????

It's the ole "It's your car, do what you want to it" so I won't slam your car (so you won't slam mine). Did you look in the 914 Info for the VIN? Maybe the new owner registered it here...

Wow. For the car's sake I hope someone replaced the interior. Other than that I like the color.

I bet that interior smells like Lavender. biggrin.gif

The owner who started the 2005 thread (and hasn't been online since 2005, BTW), registered this VIN: 4732902826

But I thought Joseph said it was a '71?

Did you dig the roaches out of the ashtray before you sold it?
