Stock 1600 t1 is something like 21mm, that looks like a Melling. Steel or aluminium body?

8mm refers to the pump studs for mounting, early T1 cases used 6mm and late uses 8mm.
It's a Melling pump. The gears are big, 36mm IIRC.
