Yes by all means! Early is harder than the late to adjust. First make sure that the doors fit squarely into the body and that there is no sag. The only adjustment that can be accomplished with the door panel still on is the forward and aft and in and out of the aluminum window divider which in turn tilts the window along with the rear guide. Both are accessible from under the door.
Late 73 after serial number 4732901000 can be adjusted at the rear scissors holder for raising the rear and at the front of the regulator to raise the whole window. The window can be moved front to rear with the large 13mm headed bolt where the regulator attaches to the window at the rectangular white plastic connection
The main problem with the early glasses is that the rear and front glued to the window guides loosen and the window either falls or cockeyes. The front of the tube regulator adjusts height but it is hard to get the rear up as the parts wear and the window is virtually suspended by the button on the regulator so the rear is first to sag. Tight guides, good rollers and grease help the problem
