I'm interested in the 96mm pistons...are they KB's? Can you confirm what stroke they are for? Thanks.

no, sorry, i should have noted that it is 24mm wrist pins.
question: aren't 1.7/1.8 pins 22mm and 2.0 24mm?
mrblyoung
Those arent KB pistons. Those are much larger than what KB's look like. The picture of the box that is included above is not what originally came with those pistons. The box reads Keith Black 96mm with a 22 pin (KB's for 1.7-1.8 and 2.0 are 24 pin) are for stroker rods (and the 78-80 shows that the pistons that were originally in there were stoker pistons.

any idea what brand these might be? the history on these pistons are, i bought 96mm jugs and these flat tops from a member. the jugs were damaged in the mail.

i decided to get dished pistons to lower the comp. for d-jet and also located new o.e. jugs and had rimco bore to 96mm. hence the 2 96mm jugs for sale

the pistons are supposed to be 2.0 height pistons (pin height for 71mm stroke).

are you saying kb pistons for 71mm stroke (2.0) have the 22mm wrist pins instead of o.e. 24mm? that would mean you'd have to have different (22mm) size holes on upper rod pin hole to use them.

i'm fuzzy about the pin size of 1.7/1.8 (66mm stroke) vrs. 2.0 (71mm stroke). are they both 24mm? i know the pin height is different.

ALSO i'm just trying to clear this misc. stuff out... cheap... make an offer. if anyone wants to pick everything listed here up (so i don't have to ship) you can have it 4 $150. all cylinders, pistons & rings

Correct. 1.7/1.8/2.0 pistons have 24mm pins
sean_v8_914
those are NPR 96mm x 66mm AKA 1.7/1.8 stroke.
