I got receipts for $5k worth of rust repair when I bought this car. I was a little worried when I cracked the suspension console though. I've been cutting, grinding and sandblasting on the console and the only rust I can find is the area where the battery tray is welded to the wheel house. Only a little bit though. It seems like the shop that did the repair was very thorough with the welds on the patches. It slowed me down, but nothing I can't handle.

I am just happy about it and had to tell the World.

With any luck I'll get this thing back together next week.

Congrats! Most of us have to deal with more than that.
