I'm looking for a camshaft for a 2258/2270 build. I will be using dual weber 44 idfs. The car is to be used for weekend street driving with occasional auto-x. (I know I am being somewhat vague, I want to see what is available.

Also, looking for a set of 5.325" or 5.4" connecting rods with chevy journals, 22mm small end.

Thanks

so no 2056?

No 2056. My friend here gave me a few parts and now I only have to get two parts to complete the 2258. Because of the new parts, it would cost me more to make the 2056.

Go Bucks!

I've got a Scat C45 new never been installed . Please check the Scat web site for the specs. I think it is for power at 4000 RPM and up. I got this cam from a first time engine builder who thought that for the same price he should get the biggest cam they made. His 1800 CC with single barrel carbs would never be able to support that cam. I traded him a Scat C20 I had. $75 + $5 for freight. Al

You'll never find 5.4's in a chevy size and I bet you will only find the 5.325 new.

I was surprised but I did find a few sets of 5.4 rods with chevy journals.
