I looked around and couldn't find anything that wasn't a factory diagram.

So WagenStad.com is a new face for a familiar parent company? dry.gif

Wägenstad ??? Seriously? confused24.gif

A whole site dedicated to German cars and they can't even consult a German speaking person to come up with a name that's not a complete butchering of the worst kind?

I can only presume someone thought of the German word 'Wagen' (car) and the word 'Stadt' (city) and thought it would be cool to call the site 'CarCity'.

If executed correctly, that would have worked!

However, they didn't get either of the two words right.
There's no 'ä' in Wagen and Stadt is spelled with a 't' at the end ...

maybe not the most correct name, but it is creative. who did you consult for the spelling of Kalifornia? poke.gif then again why is Munich spelled differently in America than in Germany???

if the site is aimed at the American user, they sure have a lot of european models listed that Americans dont have. Some I had not even heard of before!!!

wonder where they is from????? Assume it is not from the father land cause the name is spelled wrong, yet many non-USA models are listed. wonder where?????? the french, the italians?????

I had to work at it long & hard guessing/checking them all for our 88 Westy too Jim, dry.gif
but found them under "1988 LT, LT 4x4 Parts" here -
http://www.wagenstad.com/index.php?modid=324
(back track to all MY's for yours, or click to see more models then click on the "LT, LT 4x4" one listed)

Why couldn't they just list it as Vanagon!!?? confused24.gif

Doesn't anyone else find it ironic that Dave is criticizing anyone about spelling? lol-2.gif
