Well, Now that the SOCAL BBQ for December has been canceled, would anyone be up for a run up Palomar anyways? I know I for one was really looking forward to meeting up for a drive, and even started prettying my car up for the meeting..
If anyone would still want to get together for run, please make it aware here so plans can be made..
I was thinking about meeting at the usual Starbucks right off the I-15 and 79 at the usual 6:00 to 6:30 AM time, then driving up through Rainbow on Rainbow Valley Parkway and Rice Canyon Road, then connecting with the 76 all the way to Palomar. From there head up the South Grade and then stop at the Observatory for pictures? We'll find food somewhere along the way, but how does this sound to you guys?

Hey great idea. Dave. I never thought about turning a bedroom into a nursery. Growing pot in a bedroom to support my 914 habit.

How about the Pala Cafe in the casino. On the 76 & they're 24-7. They even have your Eggs Benedict. Here is the menu

I think we ate a Harrah's last time??? Either one works for me. We can hash it out at Star Bucks.

That was fun. Thanks for putting it all together at the 11th hour, Ethan. Some spirited driving
It seems odd,
not tuning Lew's car since he went back to FI. And it's begining haunt Lew too. He was complaining about his idle hunting. It was "bouncing" between 950 and 975.
Al has become a regular. It's nice to have another L-80E. Coming back down the mountain we passed a group of old Alfa Romeo's and MG's coming up. Then on our return trip to Temecula, Al and I passed a group of Triumph's leaving town. Hah, we're getting home when others are just leaving.

Well I'd have to say, that was one heluva good time today.. Thanks for helping get this together guys, it was great to get out and drive...briskly? haha, Breakfast was good, and the roads were pretty clear.
We got passed by a big group of Austin Healey's as we were sitting on the side of road figuring out why Lew's car was bucking and missing.. Turned out the positive coil nut had cometely come off.. I think he jinxed himself comlaining about it hunting for idle..
So Lew got 2 nuts and a case of oil at VW Paradise..
