I'll be there! Car has a Evan's old exhaust (heavily modified) that features a Phase9 muffler and a new (used) Momo Corse Rookie drivers seat. I've also treated the old v710's to a full 3 days of Formula V, but don't tell anybody...

El Toro is located in Irvine, CA. The site is in the process of being converted from a military air station to a Great Park. Besides hosting the monthly AX, there is a Farmers Market, and a giant Orange ballon that takes guest up 500 feet to view the surrounding area.
Here's a series of shots I too from West, South, East, and North

Evan purchased his dad's '75 911S. It's got a 3.0L SC motor in it that's been warmed over and some suspension work.
what camera you shooting with/any way to lose the creaking on the audio side? btw nice run.

Dec 5 2010, 10:22 PM
It's just a GoPro Hero Wide. I have the audio set to "High". I should probably put it back down to low...

Good to see you Jim. Aaron was really booking it out there and that white 914 of David's scoots. Really made me long for my old white car but then I remembered that at the rate I was going through them I would have been on Motor #5 by now .

It is a fun car. Needs some tweaking to get to where I want it to be but the fun factor per $ is hard to beat and it is an order of magnitude cheaper than my RSR was to run.
Cool video ! I like hearing the background sounds too

Is that with a stock 2.0L? Makes my 1.7L seem like a dog. I guess the extra 15ish hp makes a big difference. Maybe a 5k engine is in order...
No, its a 2056cc motor loosely based of an early Raby design. It's probably quite similar to the $5K motor you referenced, but maybe with a touch more horsepower. I really need more RPM in my next motor...

Yes Aaron, yes you do. Your current motor is a tease. So since Hime wants pictures. Old, cool, very expensive car.
