My 914 is currently non-running and I'm wanting to use a winch to pull it onto a car trailer. Problem is I only have access to the rear of the car.

Is there any safe way to winch it onto the trailer from behind?

If not I'm going to have a lot of fun pushing rolleyes.gif

put straps around the two trailing arms up where they pivot (towrd front of arm). this is near the middle of the car, just rear of the doors, ahead of the tire, under neath the car.

this will take the load fine to pull it backwards up a trailer.

Me too .... agree.gif agree.gif .... with both.

BTW - the guy who wrote Fast Times @ RH graduated from my HS, & went "undercover" as a student later at my good buddies' HS - both in San Diego, and it was based on real characters at both! My fav scene is the Van full of smoke when they pile out, as I remember the guys getting busted at our HS for it, where he based that part! biggrin.gif

That's really awesome. It's one of my favorite movies, funny as hell. I guess during that scene in the movie, Penn and friends had actually been drinking since they didn't have any other scenes that day.

There are many "memorable" parts in that movie...
