wheres the switch? i have examined the haynes manual. and studied the wiring diagrams. it looks to me like the rear trunk light is tied in with the license/running lights. is this correct?

to turn on the trunk light turn on the running lights.

hmmmm. so does it go off when the head lights are turned on or is it burning the whole time you have the headlight switch pulled to the first click and second click?

Comes on with your running lights. No switch. As in, always ON when your running lights are on.
