I got a cgi 'parse error' of some kind just now (on a different thread). post.php took a dump, but I forgot to capture the message.

gwn7,

Is that Minus 21 degrees celsius that you just wrote?!

that's way too cold. I'm upset because it's 20 degrees F here.
Gint
Good lookin dog...
Gint
You're biulding a square (rectangular) tube frame?
seanery
That looks like the beginnings of a 911 tube frame, possibly maybe.
Jeroen
Hey Tony,

Is that a new frame for the 962?

Cheers,

Jeroen

PS keep 'em coming please
Jeroen
Sorry 'bout that Chris... hope it wasn't a long post...

Cheers,

Jeroen
seanery

seanery
that was supposed to read [B]
Gint
Still one of my favorite pics. After 30 hours of polishing, no wonder.
campbellcj
My lord, it's about 53F here and I turned on the bun warmers on the audi tonite
campbellcj
What kind of wax should I use?

Gint

campbellcj
How big a tire can I fit on my 914?
Tony C
Jeroen wins!

It is the begining of the new 962 frame.
-Tony
seanery
30 hours per wheel, huh?

I'd probably whimp out and pay someone.
seanery
Chris,

stock flares?

I've seen 205's and 225's on 15" 5 lug fuchs
campbellcj
My next project (well, one of them)
seanery
Should I ask why the 962 needs a new frame?

Hopefully this is an upgrade, not a repair.
campbellcj
I have bug rivieras, can I get 165/80 race tires?
seanery
Chris,

Is that the one that fits in the stock tank location?

If so, how much $ ?
Gint
Chris

Here's your wax.
campbellcj
Here is an interesting pic of one of my old fuchs...looking thru the dynomax notamuffler

Yes, it's a friggen bend-me-over $1600 and change.

I heard that Jim Patrick actually cut a deal with Fuel Safe so he has an exclusive on the bladders that fit the 914 tank. So if you want to make you own cell like this, you have to either make your own bladder or source it somewhere else (custom).
campbellcj
Yeah Ginter, I need my car waxed like that!!! clap56.gif Forget the friggen Zymol
seanery
AYE AYE AYE! Holy Chihauhua batman!

That is a lot.
There was one at Pamona earlier this year for $500.
My mechanic told me about it, but didn't buy it!
He said the guy was from Arizona.
Jeroen
Tony, can you please erase that picture from my brain before I get even more stoopid ideas blink.gif

Cheers,

Jeroen
campbellcj
Another project

Gint
Hmmmm.... I'm not a big CW. Is this the Zymol?

Jeff Hays (here in SoCal) had one for sale in that ballpark. It was swooped up instantly. It was one of the only "clones" of this design I have seen, probably built before Patrick got into selling them.
campbellcj
Yet another future project. (Vented rotors will probably help a lot though, not sure how much I need these)

campbellcj
One nice thing about that kind of fuel cell setup is it lets you run an enormous oil cooler in the front trunk, and put the battery and any lead ballast there too if you wish, whilst keeping the heat & battery cables away from the gas. Plus, it looks cool. I just wish it were half the price.
Gint
That's a lotta $$$$$
seanery
My buddy paul's IROC look-a-like.

Here it is Wednesday on it's way for a fresh interior and proper stickers.

It's a sweet ride and the body guy kicked a$s.
GWN7
Yep -21C and it's going to be -24C tomorrow night. Good thing there are planes leaving South ever couple hours. wink.gif

Jeroen....had to log back on when I tryed to post this b4.......
Jeroen
Sorry guys...

Ain't working out the way I had hoped
Will do some more digging later on

So... you can stop posting "useless" stuff in this thread
(although I think some interesting topics came up)
