Jeffs9146
I used "amazing" cleaner from the $ store, a wire brush and a pressure washer!

Steel wool would probably finish it off nicely! first.gif

Looking good; now paint it gray and don't forget to paint the 1/2 shafts. Mine is a but dirty, but the paint makes it easy to clean.

I heard a story Bout this guy who cleaned it for hours. Then he had it painted with an industrial primer. Then came the black gloss. Now the thing is sitting in the garage like some kind of art. I'm .......ah, he's hinking of pinstripping the thing to match his body color now. Some people just go so over the top.

And the paint add to higher temps too

For corrosion info and some coating info, check out the 31 pages of tranz notes in the link below. You do need to coat it now or it will start to quickly corrode. Once it starts to corrode, you need to remove the corrosion before coating it. PITA. Looks wonderful thumb3d.gif
