Other than some differing paint colors, interior color/fabrics, engine choices (1.8L & 2.0L) & optional equipment -
the black rubber bumper guards on the 74 F & R bumpers as in the pix below (73 MY had front guards only), engine bay firewall heat/sound pad added in 74, & the 73-74 went to either chrome (optional) or black painted bumpers - whereas 70-72 were body color matched or chrome (optional), doors & window regulators differ, and a few other minor changes.

> Also, these are the 2 dual-color schemes for the 74 MY only 2.0L LE or CanAm package on these example pix above - the only other model specific difference.
The non-LEs were in the single color with black or chrome bumpers & silver or unpainted alloy wheels (sliver on Mahles & anodized polished aluminum on the Fuchs 2L wheels).

Yes, Good Doctor, the bodies are "similar", but not the same structurally. And I think that prospect needs to be made certain for the newbie.

The front trunk interior structural assy is very different from 1973 on. Put a front clip from a 74 on a 72 & you will have a real problem with originality!

Also the 75/76 models had different bracing for the front lid. Trying to make a 72 bumper fit a 75/76 body is possible, but not without some major channel work.

Not trying to be disruptive, but the newbie needs to know that there ARE differences below the skin. You can't just graft these cars willy-nilly, though that may not me the intent of the poster - but I wonder!?
