Hi. I am dismantling my car, as I am in the process of trying to fix the rust issues it has. Practically everything on the car has been removed. Today I removed the fuel lines and have observed that the forward portion of the fuel lines is made of steel tubing. Once in the passenger compartment, it becomes nylon. Is this correct?
Thank you,
Lee

Yes that is correct...I would suggest replacing them with all stainless steel lines from Chris Foley (tangerine racing here in the member vendor forum). Perfect fit and you'll never have to worry about cracking plastic lines in the tunnel.

Thanks. I'll see how much it costs to ship to Spain. Sometimes I think I should have stayed in Montreal. Life would be much simpler...

You might check with your nearest Porsche dealer. After you pay shipping it may be cheaper to get the stock ones, which will last as long as you own the car.
