Does anyone have any pratical experience with the differences in these 2 AAr valves? One is the Bosch 914 2.0 replacement Bosch Auxillary Valve PN 0280140101 and the other is 914 2.0 factory... I am eventually going to test them both out, I have 3 AAR valves..

2-factory 2.0 (1 of which has been stored w/ caps on for 25 years, they both work identically)
1- Brand New Bosch 2.0 Bosch Auxillary Valve PN 0280140101 replacement...

when i bought my 914 2.0 it had a bosch 2.0 ( 0280140101) replacement that i thought was the 1.8 ( 944-606-103-00) and i sold it, but cannot remember how it idled for warm up ect..

any input with actual experience appreciated as I do not need 3 AAR valves..

I've never tried to install a 1.8 AAR on a 2.0 but they function the same so I don't see why either could be used. Just have to plumb and supply power...

It is not the 1.8 AAR it just looks like it, it is the 2.0 AAr Bosch recomeneded replacement. But your probably right they use that same style on alot of cars..

A butchery of a substitution but will somewhat work. One must change the plug and ground the one side of it and find some way of mounting it. It is also does not have the operation timed like the 1.7 2.0 aux air valve
