So, after my non-starting issue not fixing itself and me not feling like fiddling with the car in the cold weather much, I'm finally having it fixed, professionally.

It's been sitting in the driveway for a couple of months, there have been a couple of starts and stops as far as doing any work to get it running, but my work other things are always in the way, and it's cold, so I've been driving the work van.
Now they want the work van back so I told my boss I would have the car towed to the shop friday and get things moving.

So, now there is no 914 in my driveway sad.gif

But it'll come back running, with a fresh tune-up and newish heat-exchangers and muffler! driving.gif

Didn't even know you were having issues? Hope it all works out. And they are not the most feared and hated.

They do all my work, I figure I'd rather take the 914 to a "914 specialist".

get an old Caddy hearse...they are cheap.
I have a friend who bought one and he drive around with a skeloton in a coffin in the back...he is a bit off though.

I like the rolling floor...good for lumber.

Back in the early/mid 80's I saw the most disgusting car I've ever run across, a black late 50's Rolls Royce with a white padded vinyl top and Landau irons.
