just came accross this eBay ad for an original 1972 914-6 engine

type: 901/38
number: 6420181

it might be the correct engine for cars between 914.2.43.0160 up to 914.2.43.0190 (or nearby)

just for compariason: 914.2.43.0201 has matching engine number 6420215

There's a blue 72 out there with flares and a big motor. Wnder if it belongs to that car?

My records say 243.0181 is supposed to be in the U.S.
Since there are just very few MY72 in U.S. this could be the one ?
