There is mention of this car in one of the recent car and driver mag's...they said Dr. Peich wanted this kind of car made but after he stepped down, his predecessor did away with the program, which caused Peich to mount a comeback (among other reasons) and get the new guy thrown out...looks like it worked.

I live in France ... about 1.48 to 1.60 Euro for one liter of Unleaded 98 Gasoline.
Thats about 7.5 $ a US gallon

But most people run on Diesel that you can find at 1.26 Euro
Thats about 6 $ a gallon.

ouch! i paid 3.20 this morning, 10 bucks a gallon will really hurt.

I'd drive it. Nice aero shape; not much downforce but very low drag! And 260 MPG would be plenty nice. I might even run bio-diesel in it...
