No need to replace the fork. It is in the case and they are not a matched set. If you dont score from those folks, let me know. I have all that stuff. Also, you could, and I know this sounds ghetto, clean the ball off and fill the pock marks with quick steel. It would work fine, but getting another boll is about as easy

Ghetto is right, but I have to admit, the thought did cross my mind! I was thinking JB Weld or the like.
