The braided copper ground straps, other than showing their age. Do I need to worry or address the cables. Sorry I should have attached a pic. No I have not done a resistance test or voltage drop on the cables, Trying to get a consensus on what people are doing for them. If replace them with what ? Any reccomendations and sources ??
TIA

FLAPS has simple replacements on the cheap. Fresh metal.

You can even get braided ones, but they're not bare copper (they're coated).

If they look bad, they are bad. I replaced mine with a cheapo flaps ground cable. Got 100 RPM more cranking speed. ( as seen on the megasquirt computer).

It is worth replacing. I temporarily used a regular battery ground cable picked up at NAPA. I ordered a braided one from Pelican parts for the OEM look.
Over time age causes resistance to build up. Mine was corroded and cracked barly working at all. Car seems happier with a good ground.
