Not original paint but original color. Daily driver for the guy for 5 years. Motor and trans rebuilt w/in las 6 years. No paper but mechanic knows the car and admitted he rebuilt them both. Some rust spots including the cowel and rear window. leaks a little oil but drives nice.

Man--I'm not a 911 guy, but that car, at least by the pics and your description, seems way too nice to part.
Depending on what you paid, wouldn't you do better by flipping it?

yep, they look great on a C2 or a 993 but too big for that narrow car

Where the hell will you find parts for that thing??
DrifterJay
Feb 12 2011, 07:18 PM
please don't part out that car, that looks like a great daily. Way too clean to part out. Go find an ugly slant nose conversion or ghetto turbo flared car to rape the parts.

Probably wont part out at this point. I have 2 people interested in it as it is. Waiting til Monday on the first guy then onto the second.

I have repaired a quarter panel way worse than that one with very little filler. Want to see the photos?

Ask and you will receive. This panel was pushed out at the door latch pillar 4" and pushed up from under the rocker 3".

Just an example of what can be saved if you think it through. BMW's have bar code tags all over the panels. I was able to save all the factory panels on the car.
