Last week I was emailing Larry Lee and he mentioned how he was at the 1985 Watkins Glen event, he then told me he had pictures of my car!
Luckily the GT hood and GT oil cooler were not harmed.

Wow Glenn! I never noticed any evidence of front end damage. They really did a good job repairing everything.
gms
This is how it is repaired biggrin.gif
gms
The GT front hood that came with the car still has paint from the car it came off of.
The first Meaney 914/6 started orange and then it was painted Conda green.Click to view attachment

Thanks for the kind words. biggrin.gif
Although the car started life as a Porsche demo 914/4 it was converted to a 914/6 GT by Ralph Meaney in 1971. Last season I ran a 2.2 L 'E' spec six engine.

On of these days I am going to look for a way to use the Gottis. We are only allowed 7x15 in the class I race in, the wheels I have are 16x9 and larger.

It was a great time, I was running Hoosier R6s in qualifying and they held remarkably well in the wet.

I found a new use for the washer bottle. I used the original bracket to mount it as a oil overflow tank.

You can now squirt oil at the other cars! Just hook up the washer nozzles and point them either over the top or to the side. Fun times lol-2.gif
