Can anyone with the Hanes manual or the CD original manual tell me around what page the information on how to put the Heater back in is? i am having some trouble finding any information about it to clearly see what parts i need to get ahold of to install it.

Do you mean the "fresh air inlet box"? I'm doin' the same thing and need to figure out the cables.

From looking at the thing, it looks like it bolts up with the 2- 6mm bolts on the side. I also have to figure out the gasket and screen orientation. This is on a '73.

no, my fresh air works pretty good. can't get it out the center vents but that is another problem completely. im looking for the actual heater parts, i have the heater blower and the 2 attached dryer type hoses. i think i need the elbow's and possibly other things but i have to figure it out.

PET 813-05 shows a pretty good illustration of 72 and on parts... You got a PET?

I may have a set of freshly powder coated elbows I'm not going to use, and the flex tubes, if you end up needing them. I'm going with headers and no heaters.

Are these the ones you're looking for?

If you need them you can have them for $30.00 plus $10.00 shipping.

PM me if interested.

Here's another link that was helpful to me:

If you separated the defroster nozzles from the flapper boxes, just make sure you don't install them upside down. That happened to me the first time. The linked tutorial tells which cables go where on the boxes, but doesn't say which levers the 3 cables connect to behind the dash panel. I can tell you that the cable that connects to the topmost lever on the dash panel is the one that connects to the fan blower flappers. The middle lever connects to the short cable that runs to the top cable stay on the rear of the driver-side flapper box. The third dash panel control cable connects to the red lever of course, and attaches to the front of the driver side flapper box, per the tutorial. I found that connecting the defrost nozzle to the flapper box first per the instructions was the easiest way to get the flapper box into position.

Good luck,
