The oil spots started growing a few months ago. I determined they were comming from the oil tank.
I pretended it might fix itself for as long as I could.

The new aluminum tank from Patrick is an absolute work of art. pray.gif
Too bad no one will ever see it again. blink.gif

New custom line and turbo valve covers will take care of any other drips.

Kudos ya freakin kite flyer. Just when the average owner would complain about a maintenance thing, you polish the nipples on Elvira. Nicely done.

Nice tank!

Same volume as before?
VegasRacer
More volume and less weight. piratenanner.gif

Where was the tank leaking from John?
VegasRacer
The fitting that would have been at the bottom of the tank was the problem area. It is now busted completely and rattling around inside the tank.

The 2 piece tank was made out of fiberglass. WTF.gif I never knew they made such POS parts. I am amazed it lasted 20 years.

The new one from Patrick truly is beautiful wub.gif

OK, it wasn't a stock tank either. Damn! That's a hole.

You're correct about too pretty to install. I hope to actually get to use this one some day. Slowly collecting parts for a five lug and "six" conversion.
Cheers, Elliot

Oooooo just noticed that, I thought it was a stock tank.
