I'm giving up on replacing rear trunk rollers and am just going to convert to the shocks. My hood is metal though, and Camp914 has shocks for fiberglass or carbon fiber.

Anybody know what the weights are for each style?

I don't know what the weight of the origional rear trunk lid is, but I did the shock routine year before the Camp kit was available. Worn out Bronco II rear hatch struts work well and the bolt on brackets from the same work great. I also made brackets to put the top up against the bottom of the trunk lid, so it lifts the top when it goes up. Really makes it easy when you're trying to throw stuff in the trunk and the top is off.
