This is 'functionally' true, but actually I did know exactly what people ordered and had it all written down. The problem was, the guy that I had bring the t-shirts up to the event started giving them out without even having the list. I was admittedly occupied with getting my car straightened out so I was off, with the list and nothing got crossed off. People could have come up and said they didn't get their t-shirt and snagged another.
I guess I should realize that the 'show had to go on' but I was pretty pissed at the time. Once he started handing those shirts out without that list to cross them off - we were lost. It all worked out but you don't need that stress if you can avoid it.
