Team 914world,

It's been a while but over the last month or so, Martin in Germany has been making the final changes to his new Intermediate Plate. I finally recieved one from the first batch, so here goes.

Product Details:

- The current Bug@5speed CNC intermediate plate will be for the Porsche 914 and late 901 transmissions, which were made 69 to 71. In the future
we will be offering for the early 901 gearbox.

- These incorporate a small machined hole at the side of the plate for 911-usage (or 914/6) (For the lever for the throttle actuation.) If being used in a Beetle simply use a normal M8 bolt plus sealant and washer to close.

- These intermediate plates are unique in that you will have the possibility to mount an oilcooler to the gearbox. What will seperate this product from others on the market is its ability to incorporate oil cooling with this intermediate plate, thus ensuring oil is maitained at the proper operating temperatures during spirited or race applications. The intermediate plate has provisions for cooling, via two threads at the underside of the gearbox. (one for an electric thermo switch to start the pump and the other one is for oil coming out of the gearbox.) The one on top is for the return line.

- The pins will have to be used from the original plate (but we will be able to supply them in the future and add them to the plate).

- The current batch of plates are clear but in the future will all be anodized.

- The intermediate plates are milled from heavy duty aluminium for the 914 gearbox

- Will be of interest for Porsche 911 (F-model) and 914.

- Price-TBD **Will update within the next few days.

If interested drop me a pm or let me know via email, maybe we can organize a group buy to help our customers..
