1977 911S engine, $2500
The engine number/type is 911/85 which is a 50-state version of the '77 911S. S/N is 6273571. It ran well when removed last summer with very minor oil leaks, no smoke and no funny noises. It has updated chain tensioners and an 11-blade fan. The engine is located in Cheyenne Wyoming.

This engine was purchased in a car that will be getting another engine so it is not needed. The only history we have is the PO says the engine had about 70,000 miles on it. We did a compression test before removing it from the car and these are the numbers:

1 - 105
2 - 115
3 - 115
4 - 120
5 - 120
6 - 120

These compression numbers were done at 6200’. Converting the numbers to sea level would put 120 closer to 165.

The engine is complete except for the clutch and flywheel.

You arrange and pay for shipping. We will wrap it in plastic and strap it to a pallet.
