Hey guys, I'm restoring a 914 for my friend. He wants to do a six in the near future and has asked me to install the Rich Johnson style six mount while I have the car apart.

Question is, Can I weld in the mount on the lower firewall and still fit the stock 4 cylinder ?

I thought I read about doing this on this list awhile ago.
