And is this a wise move?I have an old Triumph Tiger that had points.What a pain in the ass!(knee) A nice boyer electronic ignition turned it into a one kick wonder,smooth accelerating good time! smile.gif

So which setup will yield the best problem free results,and smooth running goodness?

Don't know about best but Pertronix and Crane are names I've read connected with eliminating points.

I use the Pertronix on my 75. Have been running it for about 10000 miles without issues.

ditto on my 76 & they'll go into my '73, too.
