I assume you put some material (grease, RTV, etc?) on head, then test fit/mate the surfaces, and remove material from manifold side with high rpm tool. Dremyl work?
I am thinkin bout trying this. Any tips or recommendations?

Yeah, you use some sort of marking agent. A dremel is pretty weak dude, a high speed diegrinder with a aluminum grinding bit works good. You want to make them all the same too.

I use the gasket as atemplate for both sides. Makes matching them real easy.

Also it's worth match porting the carb and manifold interface too
