It looks like I may have my new motor installed prior to the WCC if all goes well (many thanks to those involved!). Question is would you run this in an AX the same week as the install? Should I wait?

It all left here today....

The WORST THING that can be done to an engine project is rushing..

Jake's part is done.

ok, so is that as YES or a NO for the AX part?

how long should one wait (and break in the engine) before pushing her?

Put 1000 miles on it and do what you want. Or.. beat the piss out of the 1.7 and install the 2.0 AFTER the event. Nothing will be rushed. I'll take my sweet time to do it right ONE time.

If I didn't think you would- we wouldn't have ever started these projects!

Its balanced down to .01 oz.in.!

Not trying to rush things! I was informed that I am one entry fee light (my son's entry) for the WCC AX and did not want to mail the check if we were not going to be able to run.
Thanks,
patrick
